4. Sustainability Scores and Assessment

Our sustainability scoring system is designed to provide guidance and encourage positive environmental practices. By using our assessment features, you acknowledge:

Scores are estimates based on self-reported data and general emission factors
Scores do not represent official carbon footprint calculations
We may update our scoring methodology to reflect new research and data
Scores are for personal guidance and should not be used for regulatory compliance
Verification levels (self-reported, self-verified, system-verified) indicate confidence levels

5. User Content and Public Profiles

You retain ownership of content you submit to the platform. By making your profile public, you:

Grant us a license to display your profile information to other users
Allow your sustainability scores to appear on public leaderboards
Consent to being included in our directory of sustainability professionals

You may not post content that is false, misleading, defamatory, or violates any laws. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

Use the platform for any illegal purposes
Provide false or misleading information in assessments
Attempt to manipulate scores, leaderboards, or verification systems
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Scrape, crawl, or automatically collect data from the platform
Interfere with platform security or attempt unauthorized access
Create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages

7. Verification and Trust

Our platform includes a verification system to help users assess the reliability of scores. Self-reported scores are based on user input without verification. Self-verified scores include user-provided documentation. System-verified scores are reviewed by our team. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any user's scores or verification status.

8. Intellectual Property

The S.O.E platform, including its design, algorithms, logos, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

S.O.E is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. This includes, but is not limited to, decisions made based on sustainability scores or recommendations.

10. Changes to Terms
